Karen Dorsey

Karen graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She has worked in women’s health care for over 20 years. Karen works with our team to help coordinate care for the general infertility, menopause, recurrent pregnancy loss, and gynecology patients. She is actively involved in the coordination of ovulation induction cycles and performs intrauterine insemination procedures. Karen is the Coordinator of our Donor Sperm Insemination Program. She has worked in our division for over 10 years.

Colleen Lebkuecher

Colleen Lebkuecher graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Colleen is our Charge Nurse and IVF Coordinator. She has been in the field for over 10 years and has worked in several private practices in California and Colorado. She joined University of Colorado Advanced Reproductive Medicine in November of 2008.

Catherine McBreen

Cath McBreen received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 1987 at the University of Oklahoma. She has worked in women’s health since graduation and has been actively involved with Reproductive Endocrinology/In vitro Fertilization programs for over ten years. She has experience in both labor and delivery and psychiatric nursing. Cath has been a reproductive endocrinology nurse working with donor egg recipients and intended parents needing gestational carriers since 1992. Cath is also the University of Colorado Hospital’s Fertility Preservation Coordinator working with adult and adolescent cancer patients. She assists these patients with procedures or treatment that will preserve their fertility for the use of their eggs or sperm at a later date. Cath also works with our team as a nurse coordinator for the IVF and Donor Egg/Embryo programs.

Mary Heaton

Title: Nurse (RN, AND, BA)
Primary Location: Denver

Mary Heaton works with our team as a Reproductive Endocrinology Nurse. She works with the general infertility, menopause, recurrent pregnancy loss, surgical and gynecology patients. She actively coordinates care with patients regarding ovulation induction cycles. She educates patients on oral and injectable medications. She has worked within the University of Colorado Hospital system since 2003 and in the field of high-risk neonatology and women’s health for over 25 years.

She educates patients on oral and injectable medications and performs intrauterine insemination procedures.

Jodi McFarland

Title: Nurse (RN)
Primary Location: Colorado Springs

Jodi is our IVF nurse coordinator at the Colorado Springs office. Jodi received her nursing degree from Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado where she was on the Dean’s List. She has over 15 years of experience in the field of Women’s Health, having worked both in the hospital setting and in physician’s offices. She has been involved in the field of infertility since 2001. She is active in coordinating all aspects of care for our infertility patients.

Lee Fennessey

Title: Medical Assistant
Primary Location: Colorado Springs

Lee received her RMA in 1993 and her Bachelor’s of Human Services and Management in 2009. She is currently working toward her Master’s in School Counseling. Lee has worked in Obstetrics and Gynecology for 16 years, and is active in all levels of patient care, with special emphasis on Andrology services and patient counseling.

 Melissa Herb

Title: Medical Assistant
Primary Location: Colorado Springs

Melissa Herb, RMA is a recent graduate from Remington College. Her achievements include graduating with honors and she is registered with the American Medical Technologist Society. Although she has only been with us for a year, and is somewhat new to the field, she has several years of experience within the local community and strives to get to know every patient.

Yvonne Alvidrez

Title: Office Manager
Primary Location: Colorado Springs

Yvonne has been with Advanced Reproductive Medicine since 2006. She has worked in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology for six years, and is currently working toward her Bachelor’s in Business Management.
