Abbie Cannon, nurse | CU Advanced Reproductive Medicine

Abbie, RN, BSN

Title: IVF Nurse Coordinator
Primary Location: Denver

Abbie is a registered nurse that graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Northern Colorado. Prior to starting with CU Advanced Reproductive Medicine, she was an obstetrics RN with Centura, where she was a three-time Daisy Award nominee. Abbie is very passionate about her career in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, and she was a product of IVF herself. She is an Ohio native, but she and her husband, Lee, enjoy outdoor Colorado living in both the winter and summer!

Title: Nurse, IVF Coordinator 
Primary Location: Denver

Claire is an IVF nurse coordinator at the ARM’s Denver Office. Claire earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Nursing. She started her nursing career working in Neonatal Intensive Care before transitioning to reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Claire is currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in nursing administration and business administration.

Title: ARM Stapleton Charge Nurse, IVF Coordinator 
Primary Location: Denver

Kim received her degree from the Community College of Denver. She started her nursing career in telemetry/cardiology at St. Anthony Hospital before finding her passion in women’s health. Prior to joining the clinic in early 2016, Kim worked in obstetrics at Rose Hospital and reproductive Endocrinology at CCRM. Kim is proud to be part of our CU ARM team and thrives on helping our patients create their families. A Colorado native, Kim travels as often as possible and loves hiking, biking and playing games with her husband and two sons.


Jodi McFarlandJodi, RN, BSN

Title: ARM Practice Charge Nurse, IVF Coordinator
Primary Location: Colorado Springs

Jodi is our IVF nurse coordinator at the Colorado Springs office. Jodi received her nursing degree from Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado where she was on the Dean’s List. She has over 25 years of experience in the field of Women’s Health, having worked both in the hospital setting and in physician’s offices. She has been involved in the field of infertility since 2001. She is active in coordinating all aspects of care for our infertility patients. Jodi was a recipient of the Ted T. Lewis, M.D. Excellence in Nursing Award for El Paso Medical Society in 2017.


Michelle, RMA | CU ARM staff

Michelle, RMA

Title: Registered Medical Assistant
Primary Location: Colorado Springs

Michelle has been in the healthcare field since 2008 as a CNA. She received her Medical Assisting certificate from PIMA Medical in 2014 and is currently a RMA. She has specialized in Family Practice but is excited about a new opportunity to grow and expand her education here at Advanced Reproductive Medicine. She is diverse in front office as well as back office and loves assisting patients.


Rachelle | CU Advanced Reproductice Medicine

Rachelle, RNC, BSN

Title: IVF Nurse Coordinator
Primary Location: Colorado Springs

Rachelle is a Colorado native and has never lived anywhere else … besides the 9 months she did travel nursing. But there’s no place like home, and so she came back! As such, she loves any and all activities where she can enjoy this amazing state!

She graduated from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs with her BSN in 2005 and worked as a L&D nurse for 12+ years. In that time, she obtained her RNC-OB accreditation.

She is a dogmom to two spoiled boys and loves taking them on outdoor adventures.


Jeannie-Harlan-nurseJeannie, RN, BSN

Title: Nurse, IVF Coordinator
Primary Location: Colorado Springs

Jeannie joined the ARM nursing team as an IVF Coordinator in our Colorado Springs location. She has over 25 years’ experience in Women’s Health, mainly in labor and delivery and the fertility field. Jeannie has worked in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology since 2001. She coordinates all aspects of care for our patients. She enjoys running and the Colorado outdoors in her free time.


Jessica, MA

Title: Medical Assistant 
Primary Location: Colorado Springs

Jessica received her Medical Assistant certification from PIMA Medical Institute in 2011 and has remained in the healthcare field since. She also specializes in medical billing and coding, receiving certification from the National Healthcareer Association. Jessica is well-versed in both the front and back office and looks forward to earning an associates degree in healthcare administration.


Shelly, MA

Title: Medical Assistant 
Primary Location: Colorado Springs

Shelly has been with Advanced Reproductive Medicine since 2014. She has a bachelors in anthropology from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. She graduated from Remington College in 2010 with her certificate in medical assisting. Shelly assists with scheduling and rooming patients.

 

 

 


Yvonne AlvidrezYvonne

Title: Office Manager 
Primary Location: Colorado Springs

Yvonne has been with Advanced Reproductive Medicine since 2006. She has worked in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology for six years, and is currently working toward her Bachelor’s in Business Management.



Amber Williamson | CU ARM | ColoradoAmber, MA

Title: Medical Assistant
Primary Location: Colorado Springs

Amber is a recent Registered Medical Assistant graduate from PIMA class of 2018. She is proficient and excels in Phlebotomy. She is a U.S. Army Veteran having served 10 years. She has completed her prerequisites for nursing and will continue her education towards her nursing degree in the future.


Acupuncturist

Title: Licensed Acupuncturist, Diplomate of Acupuncture
Primary Location: Denver

Why Consider Acupuncture

Geina is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and has been a licensed acupuncturist in Colorado since 1998. Geina practices acupuncture at The University of Colorado Advanced Reproductive Medicine Stapleton Clinic and is a Clinical Faculty Member at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Geina holds the honor of becoming the first licensed acupuncturist to be credentialed to perform acupuncture in an operating room at University of Colorado Hospital. She has been involved in embryo transfers since 2007, providing pre- and post-transfer acupuncture for intended parents. Geina is also a tenured Faculty Member at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she graduated in 1998.

She established her private practice, Insight Acupuncture, in 1998 and specializes in providing acupuncture treatment to people experiencing infertility. Insight Acupuncture is centrally located in the Denver University/Wash Park neighborhood of Denver.
